Das Steghouse in Gstadt am Chiemsee

Went here for dinner last night. Great hygiene concept, hands were disinfected right at the entrance, there was plenty of space. The staff was very friendly and accommodating! We had both burger and steak with a salad. Everything was delicious. Overall prices quite fair. The beer was just as delicious and we also found a delicious wine.

Really nice restaurant with a great atmosphere. The food is delicious and the service people are relaxed and funny. We recommend.

Very nice and furnished with feeling. Daily menu and fixed menu, what we had was very tasty and well presented. Very friendly staff, the hygiene concept is lived, everything is cleaned. The cocktails are great. The prices are reasonable. We look forward to our next visit.

Nice restaurant on the banks of the Chiemsee with a great terrace. The service is friendly, courteous and quick. The hygiene concept has been implemented successfully, you feel that you are in good hands without being annoying. The cakes in particular are worth a sin, as are the fancy lemonades. The burgers were ok but a little dry. We will be back definitely.

First of all, kudos for your hygiene concept. Very well done and implemented in a friendly and courteous manner. The location of the Steghouse is unique. A direct view of the island over the Chiemsee makes even me as a local just rave about it. The modern, cozy ambience lets me as a guest really enjoy my visit. We felt very comfortable. The staff was always friendly and attentive without being intrusive. Even when the restaurant was full, we were well looked after. The menu is quite clear, but the name says that you can't expect a traditional Bavarian menu. We opted for steak and salad. Very good meat quality, prepared absolutely delicious. They were already apologized when ordering that it could take a little longer before the food was served. We didn't feel it was that long and since it's all a la minute food, only one table after the other can be worked through. In addition to the location, the highlight is certainly the great drinks menu that tempts you to stay for a delicious nightcap. Thank you for the lovely evening. Keep it up!

Great location. Very nice, careful and courteous staff. The prices are very moderate for the location. Absolutely nothing to complain about. Definitely to be recommended.

Very cool place, food and people awesome, unfortunately only discovered on the last day otherwise we would have been here every day. Covid-19 has no chance here all rules are observed.

The food selection is admittedly very small and expensive. But the quality of the products is top notch. The choice of drinks is huge. You can experience a nice evening here with a great view of the lake.

We haven't eaten that bad in a long time ........ freshly fried tastes different, the vegetables had no taste of their own, the salad was showered with dressing and that for soooooooooo much money. Steak, salad, vegetables, french fries all cost extra. Very sad the whole thing !!!!!! Ambience was very nice but you won't get enough of it !!! The staff was very friendly

Friendly and quick service. The food came very quickly and the price: performance ratio was ok. We each had a burger and a portion of french fries which was enough for us. The prices of the drinks are quite high - 1 glass of wine> 5 € and cocktails on average at 9 €. The cocktails were delicious!

Great kitchen with a large selection of dishes in a great atmosphere, just in front of the promenade. There is also a very large selection of cocktails. Prices are appropriate to the quality. Will come back 100% !! Also, there is a small playground right in front of the shop, for the little guests, which were also included in the menu. A MUST VISIT 😁😁😁😁

The ambience is very successful. The ordered food was very good. After that there were 2 more cocktails which were also delicious. The service was very friendly and attentive. The prices are upscale restaurants but not too expensive. We would definitely come again.

Modern ambience, superb location with outside terrace directly beside Lake Chiemsee in Gstadt. Breath-taking view across the lake towards the Bavarian Alps. Tasty and healthy fresh food/drinks served by accommodating, friendly personnel. Ideal, both for locals and tourists.
